Jan. 8 -9  -  Clay County "4-H Winter Wonderland of Horses" at the Clay County Fairgrounds. HPC will be hosting Horseless Olympics, a movie, and dinner Friday night as well as rotation of clinics on Saturday, to include Showmanship, Dressage, Speed Events, Trail/Ranch Trail, Hunter/Patterns and a friendly Horse Bowl competition. Jan. 14 - First Aid or Do I Call the Vet?" educational equine seminar presented by Dr. Wendy Cusack, DVM and open to the public. Dr. Cusack will be discussing when it is appropriate to administer first aid verses when you should call a veterinarian. 7:00pm, Middleburg Library.

Jan. 21 - Building Healthy Soils 2016 - Perplexed about pH?  Confused about compost?  Come lean the basics of building healthy soils, and get the dirt on your dirt!  Find out about techniques for conserving and renewing soil fertility and inexpensive ways to get started. Click here to register.

Jan. 22 - Food Preservation Class— learn the most current and safe procedures for canning, freezing and drying and make your own jelly. 9:00 am, Extension Auditorium.

Feb. 3 - 4-H Day at the Capitol - 4-H Day at the Capitol is an educational event that provides youth an opportunity to tour different parts of Tallahassee and the Capitol.
