Clay County Extension Soils Lab

    Clay County Extension Soils Lab offers free soil pH testing to county residents. To submit a sample, download our Clay County Extension Soils Lab Sample Form (946KB pdf) or contact our office.

    Bring the soil sample (minimum 4 cups) to one of the drop off sites listed below. Sample results will be mailed back to you within 4 to 6 weeks after a sample reaches our Clay County Extension Soil Lab.

Drop Off Points For Soil Samples

 Green Cove Springs Area:

• Clay County Extension Service Office, 2463 State Road 16 West

• Pat's Nursery, 7060 Highway 17

Orange Park Area:

• Hagan Ace Hardware, 1022 Blanding Blvd

    The businesses listed have agreed to act as drop off points for soil and plant samples for the convenience of residents in their immediate vicinity. Any garden center wishing to become a drop off point may contact our office.

 

UF Diagnostic Forms & Information

University of Florida forms and collection kits are also available at the Clay County Extension office. Contact our office if you have any questions. Forms are to be sent directly to the appropriate university lab.
